What adjustable bench to buy in New Zealand?

What adjustable bench to buy in New Zealand?

Short answer, the REP Fitness Nighthawk

At Gym Equip we stock 3 different adjustable benches.

REP Fitness AB3000

This is our essentials level bench, it is known as the best-value, adjustable, FID (flat, incline, decline) bench for home gym. It includes an integrated, adjustable leg roller for use in decline mode. It features REP's CleanGrip™ vinyl on its pads to ensure that you won't be sliding around. Priced at $845 (with free pickup available from our Wiri warehouse) this is a solid bench for someone just getting started with lifting or on a budget but still looking for a premium option.

This is by far our most popular bench for many reasons

  • Rated as a S Tier bench by Glucks Gym and rated "Best Bench for most people" by Jungle Gym Reviews
  • 315KG/700lb weight capacity - It will take an absolute beast to out grow it
  • REP's CleanGrip™ vinyl to ensure you won't be sliding around when getting setup
  • IPF compliant height for those that compete
  • Attachment port for Leg extension and Leg Roller
  • Competitively priced at only $995, you won't find a better bench in New Zealand even close to this price
  • Stands vertically when folded - Saves valuable space in your home gym when not in use
  • 4cm pad gap -  small enough that most people won't even notice
  • Stocked in both metallic and matte black to suit your desired aesthetic. Other colours available to order.

This is the bench for most people. If you need decline and you're on a budget consider the AB3000. If the gap is an issue or you need more weight capacity the Blackwing is the way to go.

REP Fitness Blackwing

Rep Fitness - Blackwing zero game adjustable bench - Gym Equip

The Blackwing is REP's top of the line bench. If you just want the best, this is for you. What sets this apart from the Nighthawk is a 450kg/1000lb weight capacity and REP's Zero gap technology. This a bench for people who won't accept compromise.
It also features the same attachment port for Leg extension and Leg Roller as the Nighthawk and it stores away vertically
Priced at $1645 this is a premium product
The bench itself weighs 60KG so if frequent movement is a requirement consider the more maneuverable Nighthawk.
